This artwork by Luxembourgish artist Lisa Junius is a unique bonus on the tour. Located in Warken, about 2.3km from Ettelbruck (~32 minutes on foot), it lies just outside the main route — but it’s well worth the walk. Here, Lisa painted a large snake sil

This route takes you to one of the heights above Ettelbruck. You start in Warken, on a path past the stream, then go up to the old lime kilns. Until 1950, lime was burnt here and processed as far as the Eifel. From the observation tower you have a wonderful view of Ettelbruck and the adjacent playground.
