The easy-to-walk path runs in the immediate vicinity of Mompach. It passes through a quiet landscape lined with orchards and along the first wind turbines erected in Luxembourg. The route also passes varied forest sections as well as sustainably used pasturelands. Back in Mompach, the path ends at a small sustainably built residential area and at the naturally designed Klengelbach. At the end of your walk, pop into Iewescht Stross and visit the “Chicks on the move” vending machine. There you can buy fresh eggs, honey, pasta and other farm produce (including chicken manure) 24 hours a day.

The starting point of the hiking trail is located in the village center of the small town of Mompach. After a short distance, you reach a forest inhabited by many bird species. At the highest point, the trail offers a beautiful view far into Germany (Hunsrück) and Luxembourg (Widdebierg). After walking on part of a former Roman road, which led from Trier (D) to Altrier (L), the path runs past rocks in a small forest where there is a small cave, the so-called "Hexenkeller".
