The route runs entirely along the national hiking trail Sentier du Sud and begins with a view of the former open-pit mining area Ronnebierg near the border with France. After the Vesquenhaff farmstead, the path leads over the wooded heights west of Differdange to the railway station of Niederkorn.

At Roudenhaff, the path leaves the border and leads down to Fond-de-Gras with its interesting industrial and railway museum. The moment you walk through the entrance to the outdoor swimming pool you feel like you’re on holiday. Not only are there pools, there’s a giant lawn where you can lounge all day long. Bring your big beach towel, a couple of good books, a hat and sunglasses and enjoy the summer atmosphere for a few hours or all day and into the evening. Temporarily closed for renovation and expansion work. The indoor swimming pool is open throughout the year.
