Among the many idyllic villages that are scattered in the west of Luxembourg, one breaks ranks. During your visit to Kahler, in the municipality of Garnich, you should not be surprised if you end up at one of the many murals decorated with colourful graffiti art. Under the motto "Make Koler Kooler", a young local artist, together with a handful of colleagues, transformed the facades of the village houses into a huge work of art. Their creativity spread to the inhabitants of Kahler, who took the "urbanization" of their village a step further and created a cinema in the premises of the old school, the equipment of which is in no way inferior to that of a large complex.

The "KINOLER" cinema opened its doors on December 1, 2018, and has enjoyed remarkable success ever since. Equipped with 46 very comfortable seats and a Dolby ATMOS sound system, it offers viewers an immersive and intense cinematic experience. The "KINOLER" is located in Kahler, a small village with around 300 inhabitants that is part of the Garnich municipality. The idea of revitalizing the village center and enriching it culturally led to the creation of this unique movie theater. The cinema is run by a group of around 20 passionate volunteers who dedicate their enthusiasm for film to making the movie-going experience special for all visitors.

This farm visit offers insights into the keeping of laying hens and suckler cows, providing a closer look at life on a family-run farm with local and fresh products. Visitors can also meet the two goats “Johny” and “Neckel”. It is also possible to pet the pigs. A 24/7 self-service shop is available, offering fresh eggs (3€ for 6 eggs).
