The 6 km long educational route "Man & Stone" runs along an old railway line into the quarries of Beaufort and Reisdorf. Information panels provide details about the extraction, use, and transport of sandstone as well as its properties. A detailed brochure about the hiking route is available at the tourist information. The start and end of the route are at the primary school in Beaufort. Alternatively, the route can also be started in Grundhof.
