Every Wednesday, the Kinosch offers films (both documentaries and fiction) inspired by Luxembourg’s heritage, lost classics or cult films from the 1960s to the 1990s. The venue also hosts debate evenings, musical evenings (small concerts or listening sessions) and literature readings.

The Kulturfabrik is a cultural centre located in the former slaughterhouse of the city of Esch, which closed in 1979. A theatre company and various music groups took over the premises at the beginning of the 1980s, and since then it has become one of the most vibrant cultural centres in Luxembourg. Affectionately known by residents as KuFa, the building houses a large concert hall, a cinema, a popular bistro, an exhibition space, rehearsal studios, artistic residencies and much more! As well as an eclectic and multidisciplinary programme of contemporary music events, theatre, literature, and film festivals, KuFa runs an internationally renowned Urban Art project, together with educational schemes aimed at engaging the local community and visitors in art activities.
