On the site of the former lime kiln you can find today an observation tower with a panoramic view of the city, a large playground and a barbecue area. Information boards provide details about the flora and fauna of the surroundings as well as about the remains of the old lime kiln, which was shut down in 1946.

The Children's Rights Trail in Ettelbruck enables hikers to experience precisely this: five interactive information stations along a family-friendly 2.6 km route invite visitors to join in, think and play.
