The hike starts near the old mill in Lamadelaine, which you unfortunately cannot visit spontaneously; however, there is the possibility of requesting a guided tour from the municipality of Pétange. At the beginning of the hike, you have the choice to start either towards the fish ponds or in the direction of the Titelberg (Tételbierg). On the plateau of the Titelberg, you will pass the ruins of an old Celtic village; take your time here to enter the site behind the wooden fence and read the information boards. From the Celts, continue hiking into the nature reserve Prënzebierg - Giele Botter. In this former open-cast mine, iron ore was extracted until 1978. Afterward, nature reclaimed its rights. Nowadays, you can still see the excavation terraces and red soil here. Rare plant species such as wild orchids thrive on this nutrient-poor soil; these can mainly be seen in May and June. Once you have left the open-cast mining area, you walk through the forest back towards Lamadelaine. The good news: it is mainly downhill! At the end of the hike, you pass the fish ponds where you can sit down comfortably and have a snack before returning to your starting point.

A little warm wind, a few rays of sunshine and the mercury climbing up the thermometer... It’s time to let the top down! And the PiKo- Swimming Pool Kordall Rodange has the ability to do just that: its roof is removable. Visitors can enjoy the water in all seasons and make a splash all year round. What’s more, PiKo offers plenty of facilities for total relaxation. There are two Finnish saunas, a Turkish bath and jacuzzies that invite you to enjoy a moment to yourself and take a break from the craziness of daily life. And for those who prefer to let loose through sports, there is always the Olympic-size swimming pool. The main basin is 50m long and 14m wide, and with five lanes, swimmers can train at the pace that suits them best. The water is kept at a comfortable 27° Celsius. And for those who prefer to walk or do aqua gym or aqua fitness, there is a standing pool for them to work out as they please. Children (and grown-ups) looking for a thrill can slide down the 80m slide! There is also a baby pool for the little ones to safely play.

Enjoy the vintage charm of a classic game Full of vintage charm, the National Ninepin bowling Centre and Tennis (or the Centre QT, as its loyal fans call it) is actually one of the most modern institutions of its kind in Luxembourg! Opened in 2012, this friendly hall is a fantastic place for players to meet up with family and friends. The retro decor gives the game an authentic flavour. Similar to bowling, ninepin has its own peculiarities: the ball has no finger holes and is quite a bit smaller than a bowling ball. Instead of ten bowling pins, the target is nine cones. If you haven't tried it yet, the National Ninepin bowling Centre is the place to go!

The Path of the Poets was established in 2011 as part of the International Year of Forests in collaboration with the National Literature Centre in Mersch. This route between Lamadelaine, Rodange and Fond-de-Gras is not an ordinary educational trail.
