Claude Pundel, a passionate winemaker, took over the lead of the estate in 2002 and since 2008, he also elaborates the wines from the vineyards of Caves Pundel-Err. This allows him to offer excellent wines growing in the best locations (Koeppchen, Weinbour, Elterberg, Pieteschwéngert, Palmberg, Ongkaf, Gëllebour, Alwéngert, Widdem, Hohfels and Leitschberg) for every kind of taste. The offer: traditional types of wine (Elbling, Rivaner, Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Noir), Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Riesling matured in oak barrels, Muscat Ottonel, Vin de la Barrique, Gris de Gris, Saint Laurent and 6 crémants, who have often won medals at the Concours National des Crémants de France et de Luxembourg. From the lively marketplace of the Moselle metropolis, the path initially leads out of the city into the vineyards. Before entering the Groussfooscht forest, enjoy the splendid view of the Moselle valley from this viewpoint. After crossing the forest, you will reach the road. Keep left, follow the road for a short distance towards Wecker before turning right into the vineyard of Rouderberg. From there, return to the starting point.
