Getting to Remerschen by public transport

The futuristic nature conservation centre Biodiversum was created on an artificial island at the foot of the vineyards in the Haff Réimech nature conservation area. On the ground floor, there are displays about the history of the nature conservation area and about the underwater world. On the top floor, visitors can learn all about the birds and plants here, other nature conservation areas in Luxembourg, environmental protection and sustainability. It’s a good idea to combine your visit here with a birdwatching tour of the nature reserve, which is of great importance for the huge diversity of bird species here and the wealth of fauna and flora. In summer, you can cool off in the nearby gravel pit ponds.

Discover the beautiful Moselle region by bicycle: explore in an active and environmentally-friendly way by cycling alongside the meandering river at the foot of the vineyards. The regional bicycle hire service is practical, simple and cheap to use – in line with the slogan “The Moselle moves!”. RentaBike miselerland offers free use of a helmet along with your bike. Bikes can be returned to any participating outlet.

A destination for all! A “destination for all”, the “Baggerweieren” in Remerschen attract hundreds of water and sun enthusiasts each year during spring and summer on a 25-hectare site for swimming, sunbathing, and walking. Four-legged friends are also welcome on a dedicated dog beach. Visitors can rent stand-up paddle boards and boats, as well as buy drinks and snacks on site. ATTENTION: ! Entrance tickets can be purchased cash or by credit card on site. ! The number of visitors is limited to 3000 people. ! New activities: Rental of stand-up paddling and rowing boats. ! The first part of the hike leads through the Haff Réimech nature reserve, from where you can enjoy the wonderful nature around the Biodiversum nature center. The second part leads into the vineyards, from where you have wonderful views of the village of Remerschen and the Moselle valley. Then the route goes down to the river, crosses the leisure area (with bathing lake) and returns to the starting point. For a refreshment after the hike, the bathing lake directly at the starting point is suitable.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the main building and has a terrace overlooking the garden. Varied daily menus are offered every day; in addition, you have the option to order à la carte, including vegetarian options.
