This circular route leads through the impressive Cornelysmillen wetland. Between Troisvierges, Basbellain, and Wilwerdange, walkers discover a varied landscape with meadows, hedges, ponds, and streams. In short: a habitat for many rare animal and plant species. Wooden walkways, observation huts, and information boards provide exciting insights along the way. With some luck, the shy black stork can even be spotted. Ornithologists regularly sight it here. The start and end point is the station in Troisvierges – perfect for environmentally friendly arrival. The path is not barrier-free but ideal for all who want to experience nature intensively.

The "Sentier des Passeurs" commemorates the escape routes taken by Luxembourgish resistance fighters and conscientious objectors who fled to Belgium in the final years of the Second World War. Two circular routes start at Troisvierges railway station and trace the historic routes: The northern circular route (12 km) follows former border paths, while the southern circular route (9 km) tells the story of the resistance in the village of Sassel and passes the Auschwitz memorial in Cinqfontaines. Information boards along the way provide insights into the events of that time and preserve the memory of these courageous deeds.
