This route offers special scenic attractions that want to be explored by bike. It features both steeply hilly and flat sections and is especially suitable for ambitious cyclists. Less experienced riders can also enjoy the charm of the landscape on rented e-bikes. You will be offered extraordinary views of the Moselle, whose foreland is adorned with numerous orchards. A detour to the producers of regional products increases the experience value of this route. The route also overlaps on very beautiful sections with the bike paths Echternach-Luxembourg (PC2) and the Syr (PC4). Sights: Nature reserve center "A Wiewesch" in Manternach, lush green orchards, Roman grave street in the forest “Weiler” near Lellig, English park and the harbor in Mertert, aquarium in Wasserbillig.

The "Koeppchen" is probably the best known vineyard in the region. It is dominated by the chapel built in 1925 in honor of Saint Donatus, patron saint of the vineyards of Wormeldange and weather saint against lightning, thunder, hailstone, storm and fire. From this vantage point you have an incomparable view over the whole village. With an inclination of more than 70 degrees, a shell limestone soil and partly perfect south-west orientation, the vines get a lot of sunshine here, ideal conditions for the Riesling. Every year on the 1st Sunday in July, a procession takes place to the Koeppchen.

Starging from the Winegrowers Cooperative (tours are an option), the path leads through the lower part of the area and then up to the heights of the Koeppchen. In the famous vineyard site “Koeppchen“, two ideal conditions meet: perfect soil, namely shell lime, and the exact southern exposure of the slope, so that the king of wines, Riesling, can thrive at its most magnificent. We make a little loop at the Donatuskapelle and descend to the starting point at the Mosel.
