The parish church of St. John the Baptist was built in 1830 according to the plans of architect Peter Schaar from Grevenmacher and consecrated in 1847. During the Second World War, the steeple burned down after a lightning strike. A new one was built behind the nave between 1949 and 1950. It was used for many years as the water tower of Berdorf. The most famous feature of the parish church is a big stone that shows four different Roman gods. It is used nowadays to support the altar. It used to be the pedestal of a Roman Jupiter column, edified in a Roman Villa (300 m south-western from the parish church).

The Berdorfer Kéis is a well-known specialty from Luxembourg. This cheese is produced in Berdorf using only milk from the farm itself. The Schmalen dairy was founded 40 years ago from a simple idea. René Schmalen learned cheese-making abroad and began experimenting on his own. Today, Monique Schmalen runs the business. The milk comes from their own cows. In addition to Berdorfer Kéis and Roude Bouf, the dairy also produces yogurt, quark, and ice cream. Berdorfer Kéis is especially popular in different flavors. The production is artisanal and carried out with great care. In summer, there is also a beautiful terrace in the courtyard where you can enjoy all the products on a snack platter or try a delicious ice cream.

The hiking trail first leads across the plateau of Berdorf, along fields and offers wonderful views over the landscape in good weather. Then it goes down into the rock landscape. After a detour along the Halsbaach, past places with evocative names like "Wëllkeschkummer" and "Zigeinerlee" the path continues down into the valley of the Aesbaach. There awaits a geological highlight: the Perekop. A rock that you can climb up via a ladder. It continues on the Mullerthal Trail through the enchanting rock landscape to the "Huel Lee", a man-made cave. An information board provides details about its formation. From there, it goes gently uphill back to Berdorf. The town offers many places to eat and shop. The route takes you past the Berdorfer Eck boutique. The shop stocks regional, Luxembourgish, fair-trade and organic products. You will also find a selection of baskets with regional products, as well as gift items and souvenirs.
